Movie Night at Wrigley Field to show “Ferris Bueller’s Day Off”

Bueller

As usual Wrigley Field will go unused in October, so the Cubs have decided to open the gates for “Movie Night” and their first choice is a film that features Wrigley Field and is celebrating its 25th anniversary: “Ferris Bueller’s Day Off.”

They’re charging $10 for bleacher seats, $25 for lawn seats, and $75 “for VIP lawn seating with food and drink at the stadium’s Captain Morgan Club.”

According to the Chicago Tribune the movie will “be shown on multiple screens positioned in the outfield” and “there will be a coordinated group-singing of “Danke Schoen,” which Matthew Broderick’s title character famously lip-syncs in the film.”

No word yet on whether Mia Sara will be in attendance to re-enact the pool scene.
