Bobby Abreu has a sore left (non-throwing) shoulder and will not take BP. Has played 9 innings of RF in last 11 days. Decision due Wed.

A few weeks ago this would have seemed academic. But with other injuries, Abreu is/was still a pretty decent possibility for the Opening Day roster. But if he can’t even pretend to play the field, well, maybe not.
