Boston Red Sox outfielder and MVP candidate Mookie Betts underwent right knee surgery yesterday. An arthroscopic chondroplasty, to be specific, aimed at removing a loose body. The surgery was deemed a success. They’re all deemed a success, of course, even when this guy performs them.
Betts hit .318/..363/.534 with 31 homers and 113 RBI on the year and just won the Silver Slugger Award yesterday.
