Danny Knobler of CBS Sports spoke to Mike Hargove, who says he’d like to get back in the managing game.
“I’d like to manage again,” he said. “The situation would have to be part of the equation. If it happens again, good. If it doesn’t happen, that’s OK.”
During his managerial career, Hargrove spent nine seasons with the Cleveland Indians during which he led them to five consecutive first place finishes in the AL Central and two AL Pennants. He moved on to the Baltimore Orioles in 2000, spending four seasons there, then spent three seasons with the Seattle Mariners. Overall, he has an 1188-1173 record.
