Have yourself a night, A-Rod. Alex Rodriguez, in Friday’s lineup against the Rays as the DH, clubbed his second home run of the night to give him 658 for his career, leaving him two home runs shy of tying Willie Mays at 660 for fourth all-time on the home run leaderboard.

Homer numero dos was a two-run shot to left field in the top of the sixth against Ernesto Frieri, tying the game at 4-4.

Rodriguez’s first home run came in the second inning against starter Nate Karns, a monster home run to left-center.
