My personal moral code has me firmly against the death penalty. But stuff like this challenges that stance:
No one is quite sure when the statue of Hall of Fame broadcaster Harry Caray outside Wrigley Field was defaced. Even more elusive was what the graffiti tagger might have been trying to say. Someone spray painted the words “Sox” on the base, as well as a second, not-quite-intelligible word.

It would have made more sense if the idiot had written “Romanes eunt domus.”
