Have mercy! “Fuller House” scene interrupts Dodgers-Giants game

Full House

During last night’s Dodgers-Giants game in San Francisco the upcoming Netflix spinoff to “Full House” called “Fuller House” filmed a scene at AT&T Park.

In the scene Stephanie Tanner--played by actress Jodie Sweeten--runs out onto the field to initiate some sort of interaction with Giants outfielder Hunter Pence and then sings “Take Me Out To The Ballgame.”

Some players seemed into the whole thing, at least before the game. For instance, Dodgers outfielder Andre Ethier posed with Sweeten and other cast members.

But when the scene actually interrupted the game not everyone was as happy about their involvement. Dodgers left-hander Brett Anderson was on the mound warming up for the seventh inning at the time and expressed his frustration to Dylan Hernandez of the Los Angeles Times:

I didn’t know what the hell that was. That was terrible. I didn’t know if that was serious or what was happening. I thought it was just her being awful at signing. I had to collect myself there for a second.

Hernandez then asked Anderson if he was a fan of the original “Full House” show, to which he replied: “I was, but I never watched it while I was pitching.”
