This is sad. Former big league pitcher Jose Capellan died in his home in Philadelphia last night. He was only 34. Cause of death is not yet known.

Capellan pitched 99 games, almost all in relief, between 2004 and 2008, playing for the Braves, Brewers, Tigers and Rockies. He was 5-7 with a 4.89 ERA and a K/BB ratio of 98/50 in 123.1 innings.

34 is too young.
