Devan Fink of Cover Those Bases reports that the Dodgers have signed reliever Louis Coleman to a one-year deal worth $750,000. Ken Rosenthal of FOX Sports also tweeted out the news.

Coleman, 29, is out of options and the Dodgers will need to make room for him on the 40-man roster. Eric Stephen of SB Nation’s True Blue LA suggests that starter Brandon McCarthy could be moved to the 60-day disabled list, which would open up a spot.

Coleman spent almost all of last season at Triple-A Omaha, posting a 1.69 ERA with 63 strikeouts and 23 walks over 64 innings. In 177 1/3 career major league innings, the right-hander has a 3.20 ERA.
