Ronald Torreyes and Tyler Olson were both pushed off the Dodgers’ 40-man roster last week -- Torreyes got the boot to clear a spot for Kenta Maeda, and Olson got dumped for Brandon Beachy.

Now those two are headed to New York.

Per the official Twitter account of the Los Angeles Dodgers, the Yankees have traded corner infielder Rob Segedin and a player to be named later to LA in exchange for Torreyes and Olson.

Segedin, 27, hit .287/.360/.426 with seven home runs and 34 RBI in 71 games last season between the Yankees’ Double-A and Triple-A affiliates while appearing defensively at first base, third base, and both corner outfield spots.

Torreyes, 23, hit .261/.308/.347 between Double-A and Triple-A in 2015.

Olson, 26, had a 5.40 ERA in 13 1/3 innings of relief with the Mariners.
