Doc Gooden turned 50 yesterday. As Kevin Kernan of the New York Post writes, “The most surprised person of all is Gooden.”
Kernan catches up with the man who, had he not thrown away so much of his health and youth on hard drugs and alcohol, would likely be in the Hall of Fame today.
