Great news this evening out of the desert.
Jack Magruder of FOX Sports Arizona reports that Diamondbacks right-hander Daniel Hudson has been cleared to return to the major leagues and will start Sunday’s series finale against the Brewers.
Hudson has been sidelined since April 19 -- just over a month -- because of an impingement in his right shoulder. He allowed two runs in a five-inning rehab start Monday with the Triple-A Reno Aces.
The 24-year-old owns a sparkling 3.33 career ERA and pitched 222 innings last season for the Snakes.
