Pirates manager Clint Hurdle underwent surgery to replace his arthritic right hip shortly after the season ended and now Bill Brink of the Pittsburgh Post Gazette reports that the 57-year-old will have his left hip replaced in a second surgery Wednesday.
The same doctor will do the honors on Hurdle, who was clearly in a ton of pain as he slowly limped from the dugout to the field for mound visits down the stretch.
