The new NBA sleeved-jerseys are generally pretty terrible, but the Brooklyn Nets have found a nifty way to use the concept while paying homage to the Brooklyn Dodgers, who called the borough home until 1957. Here’s a look at Joe Johnson wearing one of them:

According to Darren Rovell of ESPN.com, it’s all part of what will be called “Brooklyn Blue Nights” at the Barclays Center. We’ll see the jerseys for the first time on March 21 when the Nets play the Boston Celtics.
