Ariana Grande pulls out of All-Star Game concert; replaced with Demi Lovato

Lovato Grande

I’ll take “things I wasn’t gonna really pay attention to in the first place, but far be it from me to not post a headline with sweet, sweet pop star SEO action in it” for $100, Alex:

Major League Baseball today announced that multi-platinum selling recording artist Demi Lovato will replace Ariana Grande as the headlining artist for the Budweiser All-Star Concert, part of the Pepsi Music Series. Lovato’s performance will include her debut smash single, “Cool for the Summer” off her forthcoming fifth studio album. The announcement comes as a result of Grande’s recent health issues. All tickets previously obtained by fans will be honored.

The health issues, it is being reported, are having her wisdom teeth out.

Eh, no big deal. Grande played at my neighbor’s house a couple of years ago. A half mile from me and I didn’t bother to go to that. Why would I have paid to see her in Cincinnati?

If you feel differently, you can go see Lovato -- and musical guest Rixton, whatever a Rixton is -- at Paul Brown Stadium on Saturday, July 11 at 8pm.
