Kyle Teel went 3-for-4 with a double, a run scored, and two RBI for the White Sox in a 5-2 win over the Giants on Sunday.
Teel singled in the second and sixth innings before giving the White Sox the lead with a two-run double in the seventh. He then scored on a single by Lenyn Sosa. The 23-year-old backstop is hitting an outstanding .319/.421/.404 with six runs scored and four RBI over his first 57 plate appearances.

Kyle Teel went 3-for-4 with a double and two runs scored Wednesday versus the D-backs.
At .282/.408/.359 in 49 plate appearances, Teel is off to a nice start to his major league career. Maybe it’ll start to lead to some DH time when he’s not catching; he started there in his second game with the White Sox on June 7, but, apart from one inning in left field, he’s only caught since.

Kyle Teel is at catcher and batting sixth on Tuesday against the Astros.
Teel is hitting .375 (3-for-8) through three games since being called up last week from Triple-A Charlotte. The 23-year-old top prospect figures to play virtually everyday for the rebuilding White Sox, spending time at DH in addition to splitting the catching duties with fellow rookie Edgar Quero.

Kyle Teel is at DH and batting fifth on Saturday against the Royals.
It’s notable that the White Sox are making an effort to keep Teel’s bat in the lineup while fellow top prospect Edgar Quero handling the catching duties. The 23-year-old backstop went 1-for-2 with a pair of walks on Friday in his major-league debut after posting an .886 OPS with eight homers and seven steals this season at the Triple-A level. He’s worthy of a speculative roster spot in all fantasy formats given his combination of talent and catcher-eligibility. He figures to continue playing almost everyday for a rebuilding Chicago club over the next few months, which figures to translate into some serious fantasy appeal.

Kyle Teel went 1-for-2 with a run scored and a pair of walks on Friday in his major-league debut against the Royals.
Teel drew a walk in his first career plate appearance before notching his first big-league hit in the third inning with a line-drive single to left field against Royals veteran Seth Lugo. The 23-year-old top prospect was the centerpiece of the Garrett Crochet trade (although fantasy managers will likely be making an argument for Braden Montgomery in a couple years) and figures to split the catching duties for Chicago with fellow highly-touted prospect Edgar Quero.

White Sox selected the contract of C Kyle Teel from Triple-A Charlotte.
Teel is widely considered one of the best catching prospects in baseball, and he was hitting .295 with eight homers over 183 at-bats with Charlotte in the International League. He should split time with fellow former top prospect Edgar Quero behind the plate, and should see some designated hitter duties as well. Teel is absolutely worthy of a roster look; particularly in two-catcher leagues.

Chris Cotillo of MassLive.com reports that the White Sox plan to promote catcher Kyle Teel from Triple-A Charlotte on Friday.
The 23-year-old top prospect was scratched from the lineup at Triple-A Charlotte on Thursday as he’s leaving to join the big league club. Teel was slashing .295/.394/.492 with eight homers, 30 RBI and a 54/30 K/BB ratio over 183 at-bats at the Triple-A level. It’s unclear what the corresponding move will be and exactly how the playing time will shake out behind the dish for the White Sox. Teel has also been doing some work at first base and it’s possible that he could see action there as well to get his bat in the lineup. He’s worth a look in two-catcher formats and deeper mixed leagues.

Kyle Teel went 3-for-5 with a double, an RBI and one run scored for Triple-A Charlotte on Wednesday.
Teel started this game at catcher, but he has also been working out at first base in the hopes of expediting his path to the big leagues. The 23-year-old has yet to play first base in a game, but if he starts to, that could be a sign that his call-up to the big leagues is getting closer.

Catcher prospect Kyle Teel has recently been working out at first base while playing for Triple-A Charlotte.
He’s yet to get into a game at the position. Teel is good enough to stay behind the plate, but so is Edgar Quero, and the White Sox need to have room for both, if not this year, then at least by 2026. Teel is hitting .289/.394/.491 for Charlotte.

Kyle Teel went 3-for-4 with a pair of homers for Triple-A Charlotte on Thursday.
Teel is working on an 18-game hitting streak for Charlotte, putting him at .284/.376/.459 for the season after a mediocre April. He might be ready for a shot alongside Edgar Quero in Chicago, but the White Sox probably won’t be quick to make the move. It might be more likely that the White Sox swap the two youngsters, with Quero returning to Triple-A, at some point, allowing the team to preserve its catching depth.
