Kyle Bradish struck out nine over five scoreless innings for Triple-A Norfolk on Thursday.
He allowed just two hits. The Orioles said earlier this week that Bradish would make one more rehab start after this one, but perhaps they’ll reconsider after such a terrific performance. Brandon Young will likely be displaced from the rotation when Bradish is activated.

Kyle Bradish (elbow) allowed three runs on six hits in 3 2/3 innings for Triple-A Norfolk on Friday.
He struck out four and walked two while throwing 45 of his 69 pitches for strikes. Bradish sat 95.4 mph on his sinker, which was great to see and suggests that his arm is feeling healthy. He also displayed a new slider that’s over three mph slower than what we’ve seen in the past, with four inches more drop and an inch more horizontal run. He struggled to find the zone with that pitch on Friday, but it had six whiffs on nine swings. The most important part for a veteran like Bradish is health and movement, which we’re seeing from him. He may need another start or two to shake the rust fully before returning to the Orioles’ lineup.

Kyle Bradish (elbow) was charged with seven runs — five earned — over three innings on Sunday for Triple-A Norfolk.
Setting aside the results, Bradish got his pitch count up to 57 (36 strikes) in his latest rehab outing. He struck out three and only issued one walk. The 28-year-old righty will likely need at least one or two additional starts before he’s ready to make his season debut.

Kyle Bradish (elbow) fired 3 2/3 shutout innings on Tuesday in a minor league rehab start for Double-A Chesapeake.
Brasish threw 38 pitches (24 strikes) in his second rehab outing, finishing with a pair of strikeouts in the process. The 28-year-old former fantasy ace is in the final stages of his rehabilitation from last year’s Tommy John surgery and should make it back to Baltimore by mid-August. He’ll need a handful of additional rehab starts to continue building up his pitch count and workload.

Kyle Bradish (elbow) will make another minor league rehab start on Tuesday for Double-A Chesapeake.
Bradish struck out four and allowed one run over two innings on Thursday in his rehab debut for High-A Aberdeen. The 28-year-old righty will likely require a handful of additional tune-up outings to continue building up his pitch count and stamina, but he figures to make it back to Baltimore by late August.

Kyle Bradish (elbow) will make a minor league rehab start on Thursday for High-A Aberdeen.
Bradish is in the final stages of his recovery from last year’s Tommy John surgery and will make his first rehab start late next week. The 28-year-old has flashed some big-time fantasy potential earlier in his career and is worthy of a speculative stash, especially in deeper mixed leagues. He’ll require a handful of rehab outings to build up his pitch count and stamina following the lengthy layoff, but should make it back to Baltimore by the end of August.

Kyle Bradish (elbow) is scheduled to throw a two-inning live batting practice session on Saturday.
This is likely the last step before Bradish is cleared to begin a rehab assignment. The right-hander already threw two shorter live batting practice sessions after reporting to Florida on June 29, so this multi-inning one will be the next step in his progression as he returns from Tommy John surgery. Bradish will need a long ramp-up on his rehab assignment, so a late August return is probably his best-case scenario. It’s unlikely that Baltimore will be in playoff contention then, so we could see Bradish make a few starts in September, kind of like Jacob deGrom did last year.

Kyle Bradish told reporters Wednesday that he’s about halfway through his bullpen progression.
Bradish told reporters that his goal is to start live bullpen sessions in July, and then begin a rehab assignment. That could see the 28-year-old join the Baltimore rotation in August, but that’s far from a guarantee. It’d be nice to see Bradish on the bump for a couple of months to help determine his potential fantasy value for 2026.

Kyle Bradish (elbow) will throw a bullpen session on Monday.
Bradish still needs to progress to facing hitters before he’s cleared for a rehab assignment. He’s been throwing bullpen sessions for a couple weeks as he continues to work his way back from last year’s Tommy John surgery. He should be ready to make his season debut around midseason.

Kyle Bradish (elbow) threw a bullpen Saturday.
This was Bradish’s first bullpen as he recovers from Tommy John surgery he underwent last June. The hope is that Bradish can return to the Baltimore rotation at some point in the middle of the 2025 campaign.
