Devers has been in the Miami organization since the Giancarlo Stanton trade, but never was able to make a big impact. Emanuel should see interest for teams looking for pitching depth this spring.

Emanuel was called up by the Marlins five times this year before being designated for assignment on Tuesday. He’ll head to the minors to serve as organizational bullpen depth.

Emanuel has been a big part of the transactions page and pretty much nothing else. The left-hander is now on the waiver wire for teams who might have a clamoring for southpaw relief help.

For a fifth time this season. Emanuel has totaled all of five appearances in his four stints with the Marlins, amassing a 6.75 ERA.

Emanuel returns for another stint with Miami after being sent outright to the minors a handful of times earlier this season. The 32-year-old southpaw has made four relief appearances for the Marlins so far.

The 32-year-old left-hander had been designated for assignment on Wednesday, but he passed through waivers unclaimed and will continue to function as extra bullpen depth for the Marlins. Emanuel holds a 7.56 ERA, 1.56 WHIP and a 6/3 K/BB ratio over 8 1/3 innings with the Marlins this season.

It’s the third time this season the Marlins have DFA’d Emanuel. The left-hander faced one batter and retired him in his latest four-day stint with the club.

Emanuel provides Miami’s overworked bullpen with a fresh arm heading into Saturday’s game against the division-rival Nationals. The 32-year-old lefty made a pair of relief appearances back in April for the Marlins.
