Jacob deGrom allowed one run with nine strikeouts over six innings in a win over the Athletics on Tuesday.
DeGrom served up a solo homer to leadoff man Lawerence Butler to start the first inning. He’d give up just two more hits and walk one batter over five more scoreless innings. deGrom collected nine strikeouts as he tossed 60-of-89 pitches for strikes and induced an incredible 28 whiffs. The 37-year-old right-hander will take a 2.28 ERA, 0.90 WHIP, and a 122/25 K/BB ratio across 118 1/3 innings into a start against the Angels in Anaheim on Monday.

Patrick Corbin will start Friday’s game against the Tigers.
Corbin will get the nod to open the second half of the 2025 campaign, and he’ll be followed by Kumar Rocker on Saturday with Nathan Eovaldi starting Sunday. Jacob deGrom will likely start Monday, but that hasn’t been announced as of yet. Corbin did a solid job in the first half, but doesn’t offer a ton of fantasy upside; especially against a quality lineup like the Tigers.

Jacob deGrom allowed two runs while striking out eight in his six innings of work in a no-decision versus the Astros on Saturday.
DeGrom was able to hold the Astros to just four hits, but two of those left the park on solo shots. The 37-year-old has been sensational in 2025 with a 2.32 ERA that has been backed by a 113/24 K/BB ratio across 19 starts and 112 1/3 innings.

Jacob deGrom worked five innings and allowed three runs in a no-decision versus the Angels on Monday.
The right-hander allowed five hits with two walks, and he struck out five. All of the damage was done early, as he gave up a sac fly in the first inning and a two-run homer to Travis d’Arnaud an inning later. The 37-year-old had one of his worst starts of the 2025 season, but that’s more compliment to the other outings than insult to this one. He’ll be heading to the All-Star game, but before that he’ll be on the mound Saturday against the Astros.

Tarik Skubal will lead the pitching staff for the American League All-Star Game roster.
It’s the second consecutive trip to the Midsummer Classic for the 28-year-old southpaw. He’ll be joined on the American League staff by fellow starting pitchers Max Fried, Hunter Brown, Kris Bubic, Garrett Crochet, Jacob deGrom, Yusei Kikuchi, Shane Smith and Bryan Woo. Making the team as relievers are Andres Munoz, Aroldis Chapman and Josh Hader.

Jacob deGrom delivered another strong performance in Tuesday night’s victory over the Orioles, giving up two runs on five hits over his six innings to record his ninth win of the season.
The 37-year-old right-hander punched out six batters on the evening while allowing just one walk. The only blemish on his night came in the form of a two-out, two-run homer off the bat of Gary Sánchez in the fourth inning. Aside from that, deGrom was in complete command. He generated 12 swings and misses on 92 pitches on the day — half of those on his fastball, which averaged 97.8 mph — while posting a 30 percent CSW. He’ll carry a stellar 2.13 ERA, 0.89 WHIP and a 100/21 K/BB ratio (101 1/3 innings) into Monday’s showdown against the Angels in Los Angeles.

Jacob deGrom no-hit the Orioles for seven innings before giving up a single and exiting with no outs in the eighth Wednesday in a 7-0 win for the Rangers.
Colton Cowser had the single. It was a hard grounder that first baseman Josh Smith might have had a diving stab at, but he instead opted to head to first in the hopes that Marcus Semien would be able to corral it. Semien, though, never had a shot. The Rangers were probably fine with that outcome, as they weren’t going to want deGrom to throw 110-120 pitches chasing the no-no. He wound up needing 89 to get 21 outs, finishing with seven strikeouts and two walks. It’s his fifth scoreless start this season, and he moved to 8-2 with a 2.08 ERA. He’ll take on the Orioles again next week.

Jacob deGrom fanned seven while allowing two runs over six innings Friday in the Rangers’ 6-2 win over the Pirates.
DeGrom improved to 7-2 with a 2.24 ERA and an 87/18 K/BB through 15 starts, which should have the Rangers and everyone who drafted him ecstatic. It’s still kind of amazing to compare that line to what he was a few years back, though. In 2021, he also went 7-2 over 15 starts for the Mets, but he had a 1.08 ERA and an insane 146/11 K/BB in 92 innings that season. He’s due to take on the Orioles next, though the Rangers could push him back to the Seattle series next weekend if they don’t want him pitching on four days’ rest.

Jacob deGrom allowed two runs with six strikeouts over six innings in a no-decision against the White Sox on Saturday.
deGrom held the White Sox to just one baserunner through three innings before two hits, a double, and a sacrifice fly put two runs on the board for Chicago in the fourth inning. He settled in for two more scoreless frames, ending his day after six with six strikeouts. The 36-year-old right-hander has posted an incredible 2.19 ERA, 0.91 WHIP, and an 80/17 K/BB ratio across 82 1/3 innings. He’ll take on the Royals in Texas on Thursday.

Jacob deGrom tossed seven scoreless innings with eight strikeouts in a win over the Nationals on Saturday.
deGrom put together his best start of the season, looking as dominant as ever with seven scoreless innings against the Nationals. He allowed just two hits and zero walks while collecting eight strikeouts on 15 whiffs. The 36-year-old right-hander ends the day with a brilliant 2.12 ERA, 0.92 WHIP, and a 74/17 K/BB ratio across 76 1/3 innings. He’ll take on the Twins in Minnesota on Thursday.
