George Springer is not in the lineup for the Blue Jays on Thursday against the Rangers.
It’s likely a typical rest day for the veteran. Joey Loperfido will move to center field and Davis Schneider will make yet another start in left field. Schneider has been hot of late and can be scooped up in leagues if people are trying to capture lightning in a bottle over the final days of the season.

George Springer went 2-for-4 with a three-run homer on Monday, powering the Blue Jays to a 7-3 victory over the Red Sox.
Springer put the Blue Jays ahead for good with a fifth-inning blast -- his 19th round-tripper of the season -- off Red Sox reliever Brad Keller. The 34-year-old veteran outfielder has been scuffling in recent weeks, batting .195 (23-for-118) with five homers and four steals over his last 30 games.

George Springer clobbered two homers on Tuesday, powering the Blue Jays to a 10-3 victory over the Reds.
Springer blasted a two-run homer off Reds starter Carson Spiers in the second inning before adding a fifth-inning solo shot to record his third multi-homer performance of the season. The 34-year-old veteran outfielder is up to 16 homers and 13 thefts this season in just 117 contests, but has also experienced a pretty significant decline in the batting average department. He’s looking like a decent OF4 heading into fantasy drafts next season.

George Springer had a game-tying, two-run triple in the top of the ninth inning Friday against the Cubs.
Springer was great from late June through the end of July, but he’s fallen into a rut again lately, having gone 6-for-45 with two extra-base hits to begin August. Maybe the big hit today will get him going again.

George Springer went 1-for-4 with a solo home run on Friday against the Athletics.
Springer swatted a Mitch Spencer slider 421 feet into the upper deck to start this game off. He’s had a poor season, but is still on pace to be a near 20-20 player with 14 homers and 13 stolen bases so far.

George Springer is not in the lineup for Sunday’s game against the Yankees.
Springer returned from a shin injury for Saturday’s game against New York, but the 34-year-old will get a day of maintenance against the Yankees for the finale. Addison Barger is starting in right field and hitting seventh in Springer’s absence.

George Springer (shin) is in the lineup for Saturday’s game against the Yankees.
Springer is back leading off on Saturday afternoon following an early exit from Friday’s contest due to a left shin contusion. X-rays came back negative and it’s a positive sign that he’s feeling well enough to get back in the lineup so quickly.

X-rays came back negative on George Springer’s left shin.
Blue Jays manager John Schneider told reporters late Friday that Springer is day-to-day and should be OK moving forward after fouling a ball off his left shin during the late stages of Friday’s series opener against the Yankees. The -year-old veteran outfielder figures to be ready to return at some point this weekend.

George Springer was pulled from Friday night’s contest against the Yankees after six innings due to a left shin contusion.
The 34-year-old outfielder fouled a ball off of his shin during his at-bat in the sixth inning, then didn’t take the field with the Jays to begin the seventh. Fortunately, he underwent precautionary X-rays that came back negative for any fractures. Springer should be considered day-to-day.

George Springer went 3-for-4 with two home runs and three RBI in a win over the Tigers on Sunday.
After being written off for dead in the first few months of the season, Springer has caught fire of late, now going 19-for-61 (.311) in 16 games in July with five home runs, 11 runs, and 15 RBI. The injury to Bo Bichette has allowed Springer to move back up in the lineup, which puts him firmly back on the radar in all fantasy leagues.
