No surprises here as Jobe, who will make his spring debut on Tuesday against the Twins, was already told that he wasn’t going to make Detroit’s Opening Day roster. The 21-year-old top pitching prospect figures to reach the big leagues at some point this season, if he continues to excel in the upper minors.

Hill returns to Detroit just a few weeks after being non-tendered. The 27-year-old righty struggled last year in nine relief appearances in the big leagues. He’ll function as organizational depth for the Tigers moving forward.

Hill got swept up in Friday’s non-tender roster crunch after making nine underwhelming relief appearances this past season for the Tigers. The 27-year-old righty will test the open market this offseason in search of a new opportunity.

The Tigers are going with a bullpen day against the Guardians on Saturday, so it will be an all-hands-on deck approach. The 27-year-old hurler has struggled in nine appearances with the big league club this season, registering a cringe-inducing 9.19 ERA, 2.11 WHIP and a 14/14 K/BB ratio across 15 2/3 innings of work.

Hill was up for just one day, giving up one run in two innings in Tuesday’s loss to the Yankees. He has a 9.19 ERA in 15 2/3 innings for the season.

Hill rejoins Detroit’s bullpen mix prior to Tuesday’s game against the Yankees with lefty Andrew Vasquez (calf) landing on the injured list. The 27-year-old righty has made eight unremarkable relief appearances this season in the big leagues.

Hill was recalled June 28, gave up four runs in two innings that night and hadn’t pitched since. Overall, he’s allowed 19 runs — 15 earned — in 13 2/3 innings for the Tigers this season.

Hill provides the Tigers with a fresh bullpen arm ahead of Wednesday’s game against the Tigers. The 27-year-old right-hander has made seven relief appearances this season in the majors.

Hill was charged with three runs (two earned) over 2 2/3 innings during Monday’s series opener against the Braves and has been sent back to the minors for Detroit to bring up a fresh arm. The 27-year-old righty has struggled to a bloated 8.49 ERA, 1.97 WHIP and 11/10 K/BB ratio across 11 2/3 innings (seven appearances) this season in the majors.

The 27-year-old returns to the Tigers bullpen after a month in Triple-A. While in Toledo, he posted a 4.78 ERA, 1.67 WHIP, and 37/18 K/BB ratio over 26 1/3 innings. He will serve as middle relief help while he is with the Tigers.
