Brewers optioned RHP Elvis Peguero to Triple-A Nashville.
Peguero was sent down to make room for Enoli Paredes on the Brewers’ active roster. The 27-year-old right-hander has a 2.98 ERA, 1.53 WHIP and 47 strikeouts in 51 1/3 innings this year.

Brewers recalled RHP Elvis Peguero from Triple-A Nashville.
Peguero returns to Milwaukee’s relief mix after spending a couple weeks back in the minors. The 27-year-old righty boasts a solid 3.00 ERA, 1.48 WHIP and 43/24 K/BB ratio across 48 innings (49 appearances) this season at the highest level.

Brewers optioned RHP Elvis Peguero to Triple-A Nashville.
Tough for Peguero, who has been a bullpen mainstay while amassing a 3.00 ERA in 49 appearances. He hasn’t been scored upon in any of his last eight outings, either. Still, he’s the choice to go with Trevor Megill expected to be activated Tuesday.

Elvis Peguero pitched a perfect ninth inning to earn the save on Tuesday against the Rangers.
Peguero now has two saves on the season and got the nod in the ninth over Trevor Megill. Megill got the night off after picking up the save on Monday. We wouldn’t expect this to become the norm for Peguero.

Elvis Peguero picked up the save against the Cubs on Thursday.
Peguero’s save was his first of the season. Brewers closer Trevor Megill was unavailable with an elbow injury. Megill, who leads the Brewers in saves with eight this year, hopes to avoid the injured list and return to his role soon. Peguero might get another save opportunity before that happens, but doesn’t appear to be a long-term option for saves.

Brewers placed RHP Joel Payamps on the bereavement list.
The 30-year-old right-hander is expected to miss the Brewers’ entire weekend series against the Cardinals. Janson Junk was recalled from Triple-A Nashville in a corresponding move to take his place in the bullpen. Expect Bryan Hudson and Elvis Peguero to see action in the eighth inning to set up for closer Trevor Megill.

Brewers placed RHP Elvis Peguero on the 15-day injured list, retroactive to September 17, with right elbow effusion.
Peguero is presumably finished for the remainder of the regular season after posting a respectable 3.38 ERA, 1.22 WHIP and 54/26 K/BB ratio across 61 1/3 innings (59 appearances).

Elvis Peguero recorded his first major league save by pitching a perfect 10th against the Guardians on Sunday.
It came in his 41st career appearance. Peguero got the 10th today after Devin Williams worked a perfect ninth in a tie game, and Williams wound up with the win after the Brewers scored once in the top of the 10th. Peguero has a 2.89 ERA and a 25/11 K/BB ratio in 28 innings.

Brewers recalled RHP Elvis Peguero from Triple-A Nashville.
Peguero was one of the players acquired last November in the trade that sent Hunter Renfroe to the Angels. The 26-year-old impressed in spring training with a power sinker and had a 2.45 ERA, 1.23 WHIP, and 10/2 K/BB ratio across four appearances at Triple-A Nashville.

Brewers optioned RHP Elvis Peguero to Triple-A Nashville.
Peguero was acquired last November from the Angels as one of the ancillary components of the Hunter Renfroe trade and will open the upcoming regular season as extra relief depth at Triple-A Nashville. The 26-year-old righty allowed just three runs on five hits with an 11/5 K/BB ratio across 7 2/3 innings (eight appearances) this spring in the Cactus League.
