    Mets released OF Eddie Rosario.
Rosario was signed to a minor-league contract by the Mets on August 13, but he wasn’t able to get it going in Syracuse while going 3-for-29 with eight strikeouts. He’s now free to sign with another team, but interest in the 32-year-old might be limited.
  • NYM Left Fielder #8
Mets signed OF Eddie Rosario to a minor league contract.
Rosario provided some fireworks for the Braves a couple years ago during their 2021 World Series. run, but was unable to provide much of a spark this time around before being cut loose earlier this month. The odds of him making an impact for the Mets is pretty slim, but he provides some solid veteran insurance in case of emergency.

Eddie Rosario has elected free agency.
Rather than accepting his outright assignment to Triple-A Gwinnett, the Eagle will fly on and seek opportunities elsewhere. The 32-year-old slugger hit just .154/.181/.282 with three homers and nine RBI in 84 plate appearances with the Braves this time around. He can continue to be ignored for fantasy purposes.
  • ATL Left Fielder #8
Braves sent OF Eddie Rosario outright to Triple-A Gwinnett.
The 32-year-old slugger had been designated for assignment earlier in the week, but after passing through waivers without being claimed he’ll head to Triple-A to serve as extra outfield depth until another injury strikes. Even in the deepest of NL-only formats, Rosario looks like an easy drop.
  • ATL Left Fielder #8
Braves designated OF Eddie Rosario for assignment.
Rosario batted .154 (12-for-78) with three homers, nine RBI and one steal in 24 games for Atlanta after returning to the club back in early July. The 32-year-old outfielder might opt to stick around at Triple-A Gwinnett, but figures to wind up electing free agency after passing through waivers.
  • ATL Right Fielder #2
Braves acquired OF Jorge Soler and RHP Luke Jackson from the Giants for LHP Tyler Matzek and 3B Sabin Ceballos.
Marcell Ozuna is locked in at DH, so this is a bet than Soler, who hasn’t played a single game in the field this year, can still cut it in left. Maybe that will work out, but it is pretty scary that he’s owed $26 million between 2025 and 2026. On the plus side, the Braves didn’t have to give up much in return for a legit bat. Jarred Kelenic figures to move to right field now and platoon with Adam Duvall. Eddie Rosario could lose his roster spot. The Giants can mix and match at DH, and maybe Wade Meckler will earn a shot in the coming weeks.

Eddie Rosario walloped a game-tying two-run homer in the seventh inning on Saturday, sparking the Braves to an eventual 3-2 win over the Cardinals in a 10-inning marathon.
There wasn’t much offense to come by in the opening contest of Saturday’s twin bill as Rosario finally put Atlanta on the board in the seventh inning with a two-run shot off righty reliever Ryan Fernandez for his eighth big fly of the season. It was his first big fly in nine games since returning to the Braves earlier this month.

Braves selected the contract of OF Eddie Rosario from Triple-A Gwinnett.
Rosario, who played for the Braves from 2021-23, figures to step in for Eli White as the left fielder against righties, giving him three weeks to show that he’s a better option than whoever the Braves might look to acquire at the trade deadline. In a best-case scenario, he could last in a platoon role with Adam Duvall after Michael Harris II returns.

Braves signed OF Eddie Rosario to a minor league contract.
Rosario was released by the Nationals to clear the way for top prospect James Wood. He cleared waivers and the Braves will stash him at Triple-A Gwinnett in case they need another outfielder at some point this season. Rosario hit just .183 with seven home runs and 26 RBI in 67 games with the Nationals this season. He was the Most Valuable Player in the 2021 NLCS for Atlanta and they went on to win the World Series that year.
  • WAS Left Fielder #8
    Nationals released OF Eddie Rosario.
Rosario was designated for assignment earlier in the week as the corresponding move for James Wood. Once Rosario and the remainder of his $2 million base salary clear, he’ll become a free agent who can sign with any team. Rosario hit .183 with seven home runs and 26 RBI in 67 games with Washington this year.
