Brewers reassigned RHPs Jacob Misiorowski and Easton McGee, C Brian Navarreto and 3B Brock Wilken to minor league camp.
Misiorowski is arguably the biggest name here for Milwaukee as he possesses top-of-the-rotation stuff, but has an extremely wide range of potential outcomes. Wilken was the Brewers’ first-round pick last year and figures to move quickly though their system. McGee is still working his way back from injury, but could provide some extra pitching depth at some point.

Brewers signed RHP Easton McGee to a two-year minor league contract with an invitation to spring training.
McGee made one outstanding start for the Mariners in late April before requiring season-ending Tommy John surgery just a couple weeks later. The 25-year-old right-hander represents a worthwhile multi-year gamble for the Brewers as a potential back-end starting rotation option or versatile swingman. He’ll presumably be ready to contribute at some point around midseason, barring any setbacks in his rehabilitation process.
  • SEA Starting Pitcher #59
Mariners sent RHP Easton McGee outright to Triple-A Tacoma.
McGee has the option to elect free agency after being jettisoned from Seattle’s 40-man roster, but might wind up sticking around as extra starting pitching depth. The 25-year-old right-hander made one excellent start for the Mariners in late April before undergoing Tommy John surgery a few weeks later. There’s a chance he’s ready to make an impact at some point during the early stages of the 2024 season.

Mariners transferred RHP Easton McGee from the 15-day injured list to the 60-day injured list.
The procedural move opens up a spot on Seattle’s 40-man roster on Saturday for pitching prospect Bryan Woo to come up from Double-A Arkansas for his big league debut. McGee underwent Tommy John surgery last month and isn’t expected to return until sometime during the 2024 campaign.

The Mariners announced Monday that right-hander Easton McGee will undergo Tommy John reconstructive elbow surgery.
The 25-year-old right-hander fired 6 2/3 shutout innings against the Blue Jays in his first big league start at the end of April, but landed on the injured list the next day with a right forearm strain. He has since learned that he has a torn UCL and will be forced to go under the knife. The procedure will be performed by Dr. Keith Meister. McGee will miss the remainder of the 2023 season -- and the first few months of the 2024 campaign while recovering.

Mariners general manager Justin Hollander said Tuesday that Easton McGee (forearm) will undergo an MRI in a few weeks to determine whether he’ll start a throwing program.
McGee landed on the injured list at the end of April with a right forearm strain following his major league debut and will need a couple more weeks off before the club determines whether he’ll resume throwing. There is no timetable for his return at the moment.

Mariners placed RHP Easton McGee on the 15-day injured list with a right forearm strain.
Yikes. McGee was outstanding in his major league debut Saturday afternoon, when he held the Blue Jays scoreless through 6 2/3 innings. The team hasn’t announced the extent of the injury and should announce more information soon. Stay tuned.

Easton McGee was outstanding in his first big league start on Saturday afternoon, firing 6 2/3 innings of scoreless baseball in a no-decision against the Blue Jays.
The 25-year-old hurler retired the first 12 hitters that he faced, before issuing a leadoff walk to Matt Chapman to begin the fifth inning. That would be the only base runner that he allowed until Chapman spoiled his no-hit bid with a two-out double in the seventh inning. McGee struck out two in the contest, throwing 45 of his 64 pitches for strikes and generating seven swings and misses. After this gem, he’s a near lock to stick around in the rotation spot that Chris Flexen vacated. He’ll do battle against the Astros his next time out at home on Friday.

Mariners recalled RHP Easton McGee from Triple-A Tacoma.
McGee gets the starting nod for Saturday’s showdown against the Blue Jays in Toronto over Chris Flexen, who was lit up for six runs over four innings his last time out against the Cardinals. The 25-year-old righty has recorded a solid 3.14 ERA, 1.22 WHIP and 24/9 K/BB ratio across 28 2/3 innings (five starts) this season for Triple-A Tacoma. He’s not a recommended streaming option for fantasy managers.

Mariners optioned RHP Easton McGee to Triple-A Tacoma.
The 24-year-old was acquired by the Mariners after he was designated for assignment by the Red Sox and Rays this winter. He will head to Tacoma and serve as bullpen pitching depth.
