Mets signed INF Dylan Tice to a minor league contract.
Tice, 25, was a 36th round pick by the Cardinals in the 2015 draft. He has spent the past two seasons playing independent ball. This season, he was slashing .331/.428/.411 with one homer, 16 RBI and 12 stolen bases in 68 games with the Kansas City T-Bones of the American Association. He’ll add minor league infield depth for the Mets.
