Athletics signed RHP Durbin Feltman to a minor league contract.
The 25-year-old hurler was a third-round pick of the Red Sox from the 2018 draft. He never lived up to his promise there, but this is still a talented right-handed arm that could be a nice find for the Athletics. He’ll add bullpen depth in the minor leagues for the time being, but don’t be surprised if he works his way up to get a shot in the big leagues before the end of the 2023 campaign.

Red Sox released RHP Durbin Feltman.
The right-hander was a third-round pick of the Red Sox from the 2018 draft. He battled numerous injuries over the years while registering a 4.82 ERA, 1.30 WHIP and 10.8 K/9 over 177 1/3 innings in the minor leagues. It’s unclear if the 25-year-old hurler is going to look to catch on elsewhere, or if he’s ready to hang up his cleats and call it a career.

  • MLB Starting Pitcher #32
Red Sox reassigned RHP’s Jake Faria, Durbin Feltman, North Gudiño and Taylor Broadway to minor league camp.
Faria signed a minor league contract last month with the Red Sox and will open the regular season at Triple-A Worcester as organizational relief depth.
