Nationals recalled C Drew Millas from Triple-A Rochester.
Millas returns to the majors to provide Washington with an extra bench bat in the wake of Alex Call hitting the injured list with a partial tear of the plantar fascia in his left foot. The 26-year-old backstop is hitting .167 (5-for-30) with one homer and two steals in 11 games this season in the big leagues, but he’s been putting up some strong numbers recently for Triple-A Rochester.

Nationals optioned C Drew Millas to Triple-A Rochester.
Once again, he and Riley Adams will swap places as the primary backup behind Keibert Ruiz. Milas, 26, has really struggled at the dish in his time with the Nationals, slashing a woeful .167/.219/.300 with one homer, one RBI and an 8/2 K/BB ratio over 32 plate appearances.

Drew Millas went 3-for-4 with a homer in a victory over the Rockies on Friday.
A rare big day at the plate for Millas, but this is an exception on a night where the Nationals picked up 19 hits against the horrific Colorado pitching staff. Even with the strong game, he’s still slashing .217/.280/.391 and doesn’t belong anywhere near a fantasy roster.

Nationals optioned C Riley Adams to Triple-A Rochester.
Adams has struggled with the bat and not seen much playing time as of late, so he’ll head back to Triple-A to see more regular at-bats. Drew Millas is up to be the backup backstop to Keibert Ruiz.

Nationals optioned C Drew Millas to Triple-A Rochester.
Millas will head back to the minors after the team activated Keibert Ruiz. Millas appeared in two games while he was up with the Nationals and went 1-for-6 with a stolen base.

Nationals recalled C Drew Millas from Triple-A Rochester.
Millas is taking the place of Keibert Ruiz, as Ruiz is being placed on the 10-day injured list with Influenza. Millas will likely be the backup backstop while he’s up, and there’s no fantasy relevance in that profile.

Nationals’ manager Dave Martinez told reporters on Sunday that Keibert Ruiz (illness) is unlikely to return to the lineup on Monday.
Ruiz has missed each of the team’s last five games while battling an illness. It sounds like Drew Millas will be recalled from Triple-A Rochester on Monday to provide some extra catching depth — and to catch for Mitchell Parker in his major league debut against the Dodgers on Monday night. Ruiz should still be considered day-to-day.

Nationals optioned C Drew Millas to Triple-A Rochester.
Millas was recalled from Triple-A on Wednesday morning and went 1-for-3 with a stolen base in a losing effort against the Giants before getting sent right back to Triple-A Rochester. He’ll continue to serve as extra catching depth any time the Nationals need it this season.

Nationals selected the contract of C Drew Millas from Triple-A Rochester.
The 26-year-old backstop made his major league debut with the Nationals last season where he slashed .286/.375/.464 across 33 plate appearances. He’ll likely backup Keibert Ruiz and provide extra depth behind the plate for the 40-man roster.

Nationals optioned OFs Alex Call and Jacob Young and C Drew Millas to Triple-A Rochester; reassigned RHP Jacob Barnes to minor league camp.
No real surprises here in the latest batch of cuts from Nationals camp. With Call heading to the minors it’s becoming pretty apparent that veteran Eddie Rosario is going to make the Opening Day roster.
