    Mariners released OF Delino DeShields.
DeShields inked a minor league pact with the Mariners back in March and didn’t end up making it to Seattle. The 30-year-old speedster appeared in just 12 games for Triple-A Tacoma. He hasn’t appeared in the majors since the 2021 campaign when he got into 25 contests for the Reds.

Mariners signed OF Delino DeShields to a minor league contract.
DeShields batted .220/.367/.264 with one homer and 35 stolen bases last year for Triple-A Gwinnett in the Braves’ system. The 30-year-old speedster hasn’t appeared in the majors since getting into 25 games for the Reds during the 2021 campaign. He offers some appeal as a pinch-running specialist on a contending roster, so it wouldn’t be surprising to see him get the call to Seattle later this year.

Braves signed OF Delino DeShields to a minor league contract.
DeShields was released by the Marlins last week after failing to make their season-opening roster and has already latched on with the division-rival Braves. Marlins released OF Delino DeShields.

Marlins signed OF Delino DeShields to a minor league contract with an invitation to spring training.
DeShields, who is somehow still just 29, spent most of his time at the Triple-A level last season but saw a little action with the Reds. He should have a decent shot to win a bench job.

Delino DeShields has elected free agency.
DeShields was removed from the Reds’ 40-man roster last week but will enter free agency rather than accept an outright assignment. The 29-year-old has a career .669 OPS over parts of seven big league seasons.

Reds sent OF Delino DeShields outright to Triple-A Louisville.
DeShields showed pretty well in his one-month stay with Cincinnati, slashing .255/.375/.426 across 58 plate appearances, but he is now off the 40-man roster leading into the offseason.

Reds purchased the contract of OF Delino DeShields Jr. from Triple-A Louisville.
Deshields was acquired from the Red Sox shortly after he was traded from the Rangers to Boston. The outfielder hit .252/.385/.366 with six homers and 21 steals in 84 games in Triple-A, and should provide some defense and speed off the bench for Cincinnati over the final month.

Reds acquired OF Delino DeShields Jr. from the Red Sox for cash considerations.
The Red Sox just acquired DeShields from the Rangers earlier this month, but now he’s on the move again. The 29-year-old holds a .252/.385/.366 with six homers and 21 steals over 84 games this season in Triple-A. He could be a possible call-up in September.

Red Sox acquired OF Delino DeShields Jr. from the Rangers for cash considerations; assigned him to Triple-A Worcester.
DeShields was on a minor league contract with Texas and not a member of the 40-man roster, which is why this post-deadline trade is allowed to be pushed through. The speedy 29-year-old outfielder had slashed .263/.392/.368 with five home runs and 16 stolen bases over 66 games this season at Triple-A Round Rock.
