David Olmedo-Barrera jacked two homers and drove in four runs in a 5-3 Grapefruit League victory over the Phillies on Saturday.
He drilled a solo shot off Mark Leiter Jr. in the eighth inning, then put a jolt into a pitch from closer Hector Neris in the ninth inning with two runners aboard to vault his team into the lead. The burst of power was unexpected from the 23-year-old outfielder who hit just five homers in 119 games at Single-A Charlotte last year.
