Brewers selected the contracts of RHP Logan Henderson and RHP Chad Patrick from Triple-A Nashville.
It looks like Coleman Crow will again be available in the Rule 5 draft, so the Brewers must not have been too impressed with what he did in the AFL as he completes his Tommy John rehab. Henderson and Patrick will both be candidates to make starts for the Brewers next season. Henderson has a good chance of eventually turning into a rotation mainstay. Patrick, who was acquired from the A’s for Abraham Toro a year ago, has fringier stuff, but he managed to go 14-1 with a 2.90 ERA in Triple-A last season.

Coleman Crow pitched a pair of scoreless innings for Peoria of the AFL on Wednesday.
Crow is seeing his first action since Tommy John surgery in Aug. 2023, and he’s allowed one run in 3 2/3 innings to date. The Brewers got him from the Mets for Tyrone Taylor and Adrian Houser post-surgery, and he could be a candidate to make starts for the club next year.

Brewers acquired RHP Coleman Crow from the Mets for RHP Adrian Houser and OF Tyrone Taylor.
Crow heads to the Brewers after being acquired from the Angels earlier this year in the Eduardo Escobar trade. The 22-year-old right-hander, who will continue his rehabilitation from Tommy John surgery this upcoming season, projects as a potential back-end starter for Milwaukee in the future.

MLB Pipeline’s Sam Dykstra reports Mets RHP prospect Coleman Crow underwent season-ending Tommy John surgery.
Crow will be sidelined until the late stages of the 2024 campaign. The 22-year-old righty was acquired from the Angels back in late June as part of the Eduardo Escobar trade.

Mets acquired RHP Coleman Crow, RHP Landon Marceaux and cash considerations from the Angels for INF Eduardo Escobar.
The 22-year-old right-hander was a 28th round pick from the 2019 draft class by the Angels. He has been limited by injuries this season, but has been terrific when actually on the mound -- posting a 1.88 ERA, 0.63 WHIP and a 31/6 K/BB ratio over 24 innings in his four starts. It’s still unclear if he’ll stick in the rotation long-term, or if he profiles best as a high-leverage reliever, but this is an awfully-intriguing arm.

Angels RHP prospect Coleman Crow gave up two unearned runs over 5 2/3 innings on Sunday for Double-A Rocket City.
Crow allowed two hits with two walks, and he struck out eight. It lowers his ERA to a solid -- if unspectacular -- 3.83 ERA over his eight starts, but it’s accompanied with an excellent 43/11 K/BB ratio over 40 innings. A 28th round draft pick back in 2019, Crow doesn’t have elite size at 6-foot, 175-pounds, and also doesn’t have an elite fastball; generally sitting in the low-to-mid 90s. What he does have is an electric slider, and a change that has a chance to be plus as well. Crow could be lights-out in relief, but also has a chance to develop into a mid-rotation starter -- possibly better if he can gain a tick or two on his fastball.

Coleman Crow will start for the West Division on Saturday night in the Arizona Fall League’s annual Fall Stars Game.
Crow is the youngest pitcher in the entire Arizona Fall League at just 20-years-old and has recorded an impressive 1.38 ERA, 1.00 WHIP and 17/2 K/BB ratio across 13 innings (five appearances, two starts) for the Glendale Desert Dogs. He posted a 4.19 ERA, 1.56 WHIP and 62/29 K/BB ratio across 62 1/3 frames at High-A Inland Empire in his professional debut last season.
