Royals signed INF Chris Brito to a minor league contract.
The 24-year-old slugger mashed for the Staten Island Ferryhawks in the independent Atlantic League in 2023 — hitting .317/.405/.575 with 11 homers, 49 RBI, four swipes and a 47/21 K/BB ratio over 215 plate appearances. He’ll add infield depth in the upper minors for the Royals.
