  • CIN Third Baseman
Reds 3B prospect Cam Collier launched three home runs on Friday for High-A Dayton.
Collier took home MVP honors at last month’s All-Star Futures Game and is in the midst of a breakthrough campaign at High-A Dayton after being selected in 18th overall in the 2022 MLB Draft. The 19-year-old burgeoning slugger is up to 18 round-trippers in 106 contests this season following Friday’s three-homer explosion.
  • CIN Third Baseman
Reds 3B prospect Cam Collier clobbered a solo homer to take home MVP honors during Saturday’s All-Star Futures Game.
Collier kicked off the scoring by smashing a gargantuan 409-foot blast to right-center field off Angels prospect Caden Dana in the third inning at Globe Life Field. It was his lone hit in a pair of at-bats in the prospect showcase, but it helped lead the National League to a commanding 6-1 win over the American League. The 19-year-old former first-round pick from the 2022 MLB Draft got off to a sizzling-hot start this season with 13 homers in 78 games for High-A Dayton in the pitcher-friendly Midwest League and showcased his big-time power potential in this one.
  • WAS Center Fielder #3
Nationals OF prospect Dylan Crews is in right field and batting second for the National League during Saturday’s All-Star Futures Game at Globe Life Field.
There are some lingering questions marks for Crews in the hard contact department, but the second-overall selection from the loaded 2023 MLB Draft has been excellent this season in the upper minors, batting .267/.331/.433 with eight homers and 20 thefts in 71 games between Double-A Harrisburg and Triple-A Rochester. He figures to arrive in the big leagues at some point following the All-Star break. We could spend hours discussing the rest of this fascinating assortment of prospects that includes some of the fastest-rising names in fantasy circles. Here’s the rest of the senior circuit’s lineup: Justin Crawford LF, Crews RF, Termarr Johnson 2B, Bryce Eldridge 1B, Ethan Salas C, Druw Jones CF, Cam Collier 3B, Aidan Miller SS and Drake Baldwin DH.
  • CIN Third Baseman
Reds 3B prospect Cam Collier went 2-for-4 with a solo homer on Friday for High-A Dayton.
Collier’s early-season power surge continues as he homered for the second straight contest on Friday evening and is now up to a career-best 13 round-trippers this season through 67 contests. The 19-year-old former first-round pick got off to a slow start after being selected 18th overall in the 2022 MLB Draft, but has really turned things around this year. He’s been one of the true breakout prospects from a dynasty standpoint over the last few months and figures to rocket up midseason rankings updates.
  • CIN Third Baseman
Reds signed first-round selection INF Cam Collier.
Collier, who won’t tun 18 years old until November, is one of the youngest players in the entire draft class. He’s reportedly agreed to a $5 million bonus, which is well above-slot ($3.659 million) for the 18th overall selection in the 2022 MLB Draft. He projects as a potential power-hitting corner infielder, but is obviously a long way from the majors.

  • CIN Third Baseman
Reds selected Chipola JC (FL) JC INF Cam Collier with the 18th pick of the 2022 MLB Draft.
An absolute steal. Collier is one of the youngest players in this class after reclassifying from the 2023 draft, and won’t turn 18 until November 20. He’s also considered one of the better bats in the class because of his smooth stroke from the left side, and he has a chance to hit for average with power potential that is at least above-average and could be more as he gets stronger. He’s a solid defender at third, and he could also play the outfield in either of the corner positions with his strong throwing arm. Collier is going to need a few years before he’s ready, but a third baseman who can hit for average and pop will make him worth the wait if things work out.
