Brewers optioned LHP Bryan Hudson to Triple-A Nashville.
Hudson heads back to the minors in a pretty surprising decision since he holds a stellar 1.73 ERA, 0.72 WHIP and 62/17 K/BB ratio across 62 1/3 innings (43 appearances). The 27-year-old southpaw figures to return at some point in the coming days, if not sooner.

Brewers activated LHP Bryan Hudson from the 15-day injured list.
Hudson, one of the game’s most effective relievers through three months this season, returns after missing nearly three weeks with a mild oblique strain. He was fading before going on the injured list — five of the nine runs he’s allowed this season came in his six appearances in July — so it’ll be interesting to see which Hudson shows up now.

Bryan Hudson (oblique) will make another minor league rehab appearance on Wednesday for Triple-A Nashville.
Brewers manager Pat Murphy told reporters he’s hoping to get Hudson back as quickly as possible, so this might not be a lengthy rehab assignment. The 27-year-old southpaw, who has been phenomenal this season in his Milwaukee debut, hit the injured list last week with a left oblique strain.

Bryan Hudson will undergo an MRI exam on Saturday to determine the severity of his left oblique strain.
The Brewers are hoping that it’s just a Grade 1 strain and that Hudson will only need to miss a couple of weeks, but they’ll wait and see what the imaging says. The 27-year-old southpaw landed on the injured list on Saturday after compiling a ridiculous 1.60 ERA, 0.75 WHIP and a 54/13 K.BB ratio across his 50 2/3 innings in 35 appearances this season.

Brewers placed LHP Bryan Hudson on the 15-day injured list, retroactive to July 24, with a left oblique strain.
No word on the severity, which will determine how much time Hudson winds up missing. The 27-year-old southpaw has been an unexpected revelation this season in his Brewers debut, compiling a stellar 1.60 ERA, 0.75 WHIP and 54/13 K/BB ratio across 50 2/3 innings (35 appearances). It’s a pretty significant loss for Milwaukee’s bullpen at this stage of the year.

Brewers placed RHP Joel Payamps on the bereavement list.
The 30-year-old right-hander is expected to miss the Brewers’ entire weekend series against the Cardinals. Janson Junk was recalled from Triple-A Nashville in a corresponding move to take his place in the bullpen. Expect Bryan Hudson and Elvis Peguero to see action in the eighth inning to set up for closer Trevor Megill.

Brewers acquired LHP Bryan Hudson from the Dodgers for LHP Justin Chambers and a player to be named later or cash considerations.
In return for the reliever they removed from their 40-man roster last week, the Dodgers will get the Brewers’ 2023 20th-round pick and probably a little money. The 26-year-old Hudson stands 6-foot-8, but his fastball is only in the 90-94 mph range. He gave up seven runs in 8 2/3 innings for the Dodgers in his first major league appearances last season. He will battle for a spot in the Brewers’ bullpen, but since he has a couple of option years left, he’ll likely spend some time in Triple-A.

The Brewers are trading for DFA’d Dodgers reliever Bryan Hudson, according to FanSided’s Robert Murray.
Hudson was bumped from the Dodgers’ 40-man roster when the Yoshibobu Yamamoto signing because official. The lefty reliever had a 2.43 ERA and an 86/26 K/BB in 55 2/3 innings in Triple-A last season.
  • LAD Relief Pitcher #93
Dodgers designated LHP Bryan Hudson for assignment.
The move makes room for Yoshinobu Yamamoto on the 40-man. Hudson appeared in six games for the Dodgers as a 26-year-old rookie, giving up seven runs in 8 2/3 innings. He was far better in Triple-A, posting a 2.43 ERA and an 86/26 K/BB ratio in 55 2/3 innings. There’s a good chance someone will pick him up and give him a chance to win a bullpen spot.

Dodgers optioned LHP Bryan Hudson to Triple-A Oklahoma City.
Hudson returns to the minors as Gavin Stone returns to the Dodgers pitching mix. The 26-year-old has a 7.27 ERA, 1.85 WHIP, and 7/4 K/BB ratio over six appearances with the Dodgers this season.
