Brandon Nimmo went 2-for-3 with a double, two runs scored, a walk, and a stolen base on Friday against the Reds.
Nimmo had a strong game in what was otherwise a rough night for the Mets. He walked, stole a base, and scored a run in the second inning and then started their last-second rally with a double in the ninth. After a slow start, Nimmo has quietly put together one of the best all-around of his career thus far with 18 homers, 11 stolen bases, and a .793 OPS through 94 games.

Brandon Nimmo went 2-for-4 with a pair of singles, run scored and a stolen base on Thursday as the Mets dropped the second half of their doubleheader against the Orioles.
Nimmo led off the game with a single off of Tomoyuki Sugano and raced around to score the first run on an RBI ground out off the bat of Juan Soto. The 32-year-old outfielder also smacked a one-out single in the fifth inning and swiped second base before being stranded there. On the season, he’s now hitting .260/.319/.470 with 18 homers, 53 RBI and 10 stolen bases in what has been a very productive first half.

Brandon Nimmo went 2-for-4 with a grand slam Saturday against the Yankees.
He also swiped a base. Nimmo set the tone for this one in the first inning, belting his fourth career slam off left-hander Carlos Rodón. He’s batting .311 with 10 homers, 25 RBI and eight steals in 35 games dating back to May 29.

The Mets have Starling Marte batting second and Brandon Nimmo hitting fifth Tuesday against the Brewers.
The Mets are treating Freddy Peralta like he’s a left-hander by starting Marte and dropping Nimmo from his usual second spot in the lineup, and it’s not a bad idea; Peralta has reverse splits in his career. Nimmo is also 0-for-8 against him lifetime. It’s Marte’s first start against a righty since Mark Vientos came off the injured list.

Brandon Nimmo hit his 14th and 15th homers Saturday in the rout of the Phillies.
Francisco Lindor, Nimmo and Juan Soto not only homered consecutively in the third inning, but it was the 15th homer of the year for all three. Soto went and hit his 16th later on. Nimmo got a scare tonight when Jeff McNeil nearly instigated a collision with him in left-center, but he saw it coming just quickly enough to get out of the way. The two-homer game was his second this month and ninth all-time.

Brandon Nimmo went 2-for-3 with two solo home runs, a walk and three runs scored on Wednesday against the Nationals.
Nimmo certainly loves playing against the Nationals. This was his second multi-homer game of the season, and both have come against them. He tied a franchise record with nine RBI in his other two-homer game, so only driving two runs this game is a bit of a disappointment. Nevertheless, Nimmo has looked much more like himself since moving back to the two-hole in the Mets’ lineup and feels well on his way to a strong summer hitting in the heart of this fantastic lineup.

Brandon Nimmo came off the bench Sunday to play three innings in left field and flew out in his lone at-bat.
Nimmo experienced calf cramping Saturday, which likely had something to do with him being out of the starting lineup today. He should be back in there Monday against the Dodgers.

Brandon Nimmo had two hits, two walks and two runs scored Wednesday against the White Sox.
In spite of his OBP struggles this season, Nimmo was elevated to the second spot in the Mets lineup after the team decided to drop Juan Soto and Pete Alonso to third and fourth. It’s not necessarily a great thing for his fantasy value, since hitting fourth below those two guys was an excellent situation, too, but if it leads to some more patience at the plate from Nimmo, it might pay off for the Mets. He came into today with a .274 OBP.

Brandon Nimmo (neck) is back in the lineup for Monday’s showdown against the White Sox.
Nimmo is back in left field and batting second for Monday’s series opener against the White Sox after sitting out a pair of contests over the weekend with a neck issue.

Brandon Nimmo (neck) remains out of the lineup for Sunday’s game against the Dodgers.
Nimmo will sit out his second straight game on Sunday night after making an early exit from Friday’s extra-inning showdown with neck stiffness. It’ll be veteran Jeff McNeil heading out to patrol left field in his absence. Fantasy managers should consider him day-to-day for now.
