He allowed just one hit during his time in the ballgame while recording a pair of strikeouts. Warren provides a fresh arm for the Mets’ bullpen. He’ll take Andrew Pintaro’s spot on the roster with Pintaro heading to Syracuse in the corresponding move.

Technically, Warren will remain with the Mets as the extra 27th man for Sunday’s doubleheader against the Cardinals at Busch Stadium. The 29-year-old reliever will head to Triple-A at the conclusion of the twin bill.

The 29-year-old hurler will add a fresh arm to the Mets’ bullpen in advance of Friday night’s battle against the Cardinals. He had registered a 4.35 ERA, 1.84 WHIP and a 14/9 K/BB ratio over 10 1/3 innings at Triple-A Syracuse. Ty Adcock was optioned out in a corresponding move on Friday.
