    Argenis Angulo has retired from professional baseball.
    Angulo was limited to just 14 relief appearances this season for Double-A Wichita and steps away after eight seasons in the minors between the Twins, Athletics and Guardians. The 28-year-old righty never wound up making it to the majors after being selected in the 19th round of the 2014 MLB Draft.

    Angulo, 27, was a disaster for the Athletics at Triple-A Las Vegas in 2021, compiling a dreadful 7.33 ERA, 1.93 WHIP and 47/28 K/BB ratio over 43 frames. He’ll add minor league bullpen depth for the Twins.

    Angulo, 26, held a 3.45 ERA and 88/38 K/BB ratio over 62 2/3 innings between Double- and Triple-A in the Indians organization in 2019. He has yet to see any action in the majors.
