Adam Haseley went 4-for-5 with a walk and three runs scored as the White Sox’s leadoff man Sunday against the Rays.
“We knew he could do it all along,” said a White Sox team that was giving Haseley just his second start since he was called up two weeks ago and seventh since picking him up from the Phillies prior to last year. Haseley is 6-for-11 with two walks in limited action. There’s not really much in the way of upside here, but he might be a better option in right field than Oscar Colás at the moment.
