Cowboys signed Clemson OT Mitch Hyatt.
Hyatt (6’5/303) set school records in career starts (57) and snaps played (3,754) as the Tigers’ four-year left tackle, twice earning the Jacobs Blocking Trophy as the ACC’s top offensive lineman and first-team All-ACC three times. Measuring in with 34 1/8-inch arms, Hyatt showed acceptable athleticism during pre-draft workouts with a 5.29 forty, 7.72 three-cone time, and 28 bench-press reps. Hyatt is light in the pants and lacks dominant traits, but he was a consistent executor on college tape and has an outside chance to become a low-end starter at tackle or guard.
