Jonas Valanciunas (illness) will not suit up for Monday’s game against the Pacers.
He’ll be joining Brandon Clarke (hip) and Kyle Anderson (heel) on the sidelines tonight, leaving the Grizzlies very thin up front. Jaren Jackson Jr. could be headed for big minutes if he’s able to avoid foul trouble, Bruno Caboclo might get a start and Miles Plumlee will likely be able to get into the rotation. The Grizzlies play again in Chicago on Wednesday, and for now, we’ll be considering JV questionable for that one.

The Memphis Grizzlies are waiving forward Ivan Rabb and center Miles Plumlee.
The Grizz needed to get down to 15 players, so they part ways with bigs Rabb and Plumlee. Rabb appeared in 85 games for the Grizz over his two seasons in Memphis, averaging 5.7 points in 14.6 minutes per contest.
  • NBA Center #25
Miles Plumlee has been traded to the Grizzlies in a deal for Chandler Parsons.
Plumlee will provide Memphis will some emergency depth at the five-spot, but he’s a non-factor in fantasy hoops.
  • NBA Center #25
Miles Plumlee will have arthroscopic surgery on left knee and will miss the rest of the season.
No fantasy impact here, as Plumlee has not appeared in a game since December 31st, 2018. He should be healed and ready to play by the start of training camp.
  • NBA Center #25
Miles Plumlee (knee) will not play on Tuesday against the Pelicans.
There was some talk of Plumlee potentially getting back to the court in mid-March, but he continues to get ruled out 24 hours in advance of tip-off. He’s almost assuredly done for the year and belongs on waivers in all formats.
  • NBA Center #25
Miles Plumlee (knee) will remain on the sidelines for Tuesday’s game against the Rockets.
Plumlee was supposed to return to action at some point last week, but we still haven’t seen him and he’s still getting ruled out a day in advance of tip-off. There’s a decent chance he won’t take the floor again this season.
  • NBA Center #25
Miles Plumlee (knee) will not play on Wednesday against the Grizzlies.
He’s expected to make it back to the court at some point this week, so maybe he’ll be able to get out there for Saturday’s game in Boston or Sunday’s game in Orlando. He doesn’t have any fantasy value, though.
  • NBA Center #25
Miles Plumlee (left knee) is expected to return for Atlanta this week.
Hawks coach Lloyd Pierce said Plumlee should return with a “low-minute role” this week. Tyler Zeller may not be retained once his 10-day contract expires, therefore, but Plumlee himself doesn’t offer any fantasy upside.
  • NBA Center #25
Lloyd Pierce said that Miles Plumlee (knee) is “getting close” to a return.
He was able to do everything at Thursday’s practice, although that didn’t include 5-on-5 work, so it’s unclear if he was able to take contact. Plumlee probably won’t factor into the rotation once he’s healthy, so he’s safe to leave on the wire in all formats.
  • NBA Center #25
Miles Plumlee (left knee) still hasn’t progressed to taking contact.
He didn’t practice on Wednesday and will remain on the sidelines for Thursday’s game against the Knicks. Plumlee had a non-surgical procedure on his left knee back in January and was given a loose, two-week timetable, but with him still being limited to light shooting, he’s clearly still not close. Leave him on the wire.
