The Pat essentially re-signed their practice squad with an invitation to offseason workouts and training camp. Ventrone was the ultimate roster yo-yo in 2011 while Carter’s contract was doubled to keep him away from a poacher in December.

It’s well past time for the Titans to cut the fish loose with Williams. The 2007 third-rounder has never come close to seeing playing time. Schommer and Durand were 2008 draft picks that spent the season on the practice squad.

Rivera played in the third preseason game, so he must’ve been hurt toward the end of the contest or on the practice field Monday. Already a long shot, Brown’s roster spot expired when he was deemed to need shoulder surgery.
