Michael Vick, questionable with an ankle injury, didn’t practice Wednesday.
''I feel a lot better than I did on Sunday,’' Vick said Wednesday. Both Vick and the coaching staff said it was possible he could play Sunday without practicing all week. Vick said he’d play if he’s 85-90% by the weekend.

Injuries to the left side of the Atlanta offensive line could spell trouble for Michael Vick.
We still like Vick versus a lame St. Louis defense, but the season-ending injury to guard Michael Moore and the knee injury of left tackle Kevin Shaffer is a long-term concern. On the bright side, if Vick has no time to pass, he may scramble more.

The Falcons may adjust the amount of Michael Vick’s playing time in the Falcons preseason finale.
The coaching staff would like to get Vick more reps in the team’s new West Coast offense. Vick has played a total of 24 snaps this preseason because of an assortment of minor injuries.
  • FA Quarterback #2
Michael Vick (hamstring) returned to Falcons practice today.
When asked about Vick, coach Jim Mora said, “He’s fine. He’s doing good. He’s a good kid. He’s fun to be around.” Thanks, coach.

Michael Vick will likely play more than one quarter in Friday’s preseason game.
Atlanta coaches were criticized for babying Vick last week despite the fact he’s learning a new offense. We are anxious to see Vick in action again. He should provide great value as the third QB taken in fantasy leagues.
  • FA Quarterback #2
Michael Vick, Alge Crumpler, and T.J. Duckett did not practice Friday.
All three are still listed as questionable, and Matt Schaub again ran the first-team offense in practice.
  • FA Quarterback #2
The Falcons depend on playing Michael Vick the entire game Sunday, although that could change depending on how it unfolds.
Jim Mora doesn’t want to go into a bye on a two-game losing streak. Look for Vick to go the distance if the game is close. He could be pulled if there is a big lead either way.
  • FA Quarterback #2
Michael Vick is still feeling soreness in his right ankle.
Vick, who is working out with the team in Atlanta, expects to be fully healthy once the season approaches. He feels he may have returned too quickly last season.
  • FA Quarterback #2
The Falcons believe their new West Coast style offense will greatly benefit Michael Vick.
The system requires a quarterback to throw with accuracy on the run. Vick generally excels on the run and could see his pass completion percentage go up with shorter, easier passes.
  • FA Quarterback #2
Michael Vick is happy with the new West Coast offense the Falcons have installed.
“It’s a great system,” Vick said after test driving the offense for a third consecutive day. “Watching all the other quarterbacks who have played in this system, they’ve all been Pro Bowlers, so I definitely believe in it.” Vick said he liked the fact that the offense is designed for him to release the ball quickly, which for him means fewer opportunities for defenses to take shots at him in the pocket.
