Matthew Dellavedova has agreed to a two-year deal with Melbourne United of Australia’s NBL.
Dellavedova, whose 2022-23 season came to a premature end due to a fractured right index finger, is headed back to his native Australia to continue his pro career. Delly, who was due to become an unrestricted free agent this summer, averaged 6.7 minutes per game in 32 appearances for the Kings this season. Sacramento’s top two point guards, De’Aaron Fox and Davion Mitchell, are under contract for next season, so they should be fine at that position.

Matthew Dellavedova underwent a successful surgical procedure to repair his fractured right index finger on Wednesday.
Dellavedova, who suffered the injury during Sacramento’s March 29 win over Portland, has been sidelined ever since. In the aftermath of the surgery, he remains without a timeline for return. As long as starter De’Aaron Fox and backup point guard Davion Mitchell remain healthy, Delly’s absence will not impact the Kings’ rotation.

Matthew Dellavedova has been ruled out and does not have a timeline for return due to a fractured right index finger.
Dellavedova suffered the injury during the fourth quarter of Wednesday’s win over Portland. Per the announcement from the team, various treatment options are currently under consideration, and there’s no timeline for Delly’s return to game action. His absence will not impact fantasy basketball, as Dellavedova is third in the Kings’ pecking order at point guard when everyone is healthy.

De’Aaron Fox (right hamstring soreness) is questionable for Monday’s game against the Timberwolves.
Fox was held out of Saturday’s win over the Jazz, with Davion Mitchell filling in admirably. That would be the case on Monday if Fox remains sidelined, making Mitchell a player worth streaming in deep leagues. Also, Matthew Dellavedova would remain in the rotation but is not worth adding in a reserve role.

De’Aaron Fox (right hamstring soreness) has been ruled out for Saturday’s game against the Jazz.
Fox exited Friday’s win over the Suns early, and he’ll miss at least one full game due to the hamstring issue. Davion Mitchell will get the start, while Matthew Dellavedova will pick up rotation minutes off the bench. While Mitchell is worth streaming in this spot, Delly isn’t.

De’Aaron Fox (right hamstring soreness) is questionable for Saturday’s game against the Jazz.
Fox had to depart Friday’s win over the Suns during the third quarter, with the team deciding to hold him out despite the point guard’s desire to return. Should Fox not be cleared for Saturday’s game, Davion Mitchell would move into the starting lineup, and he’s worth streaming in deeper leagues. Matthew Dellavedova would get rotation minutes but is not worth adding in this spot.

Matthew Dellavedova (non-COVID illness) has been cleared for Friday’s game against the Thunder.
Dellavedova is not in the rotation most nights when healthy, as he’s behind De’Aaron Fox and Davion Mitchell in the point guard pecking order. Leave Delly on the waiver wire.
