  • FA Defensive Lineman #55
    Jaguars re-signed LB Lerentee McCray.
McCray joined the Jaguars in 2017 after spending the first three seasons of his career with the Broncos and Bills. The former undrafted free agent has played 35 games with the Jaguars over the past three seasons, racking up 2.5 sacks and 26 total tackles along the way. He’ll likely continue to serve as nothing more than a depth piece that plays a handful of snaps per week.

Jaguars placed Lerentee McCray (hamstring) on NFI list.
McCray didn’t record a sack or TFL all season and played 10 or fewer defensive snaps in all but one game. The Jaguars promoted Charles Jones from the practice squad to the active roster in a corresponding roster move.
  • FA Defensive Lineman #55
Broncos signed Florida LB Lerentee McCray.
McCray (6-foot-2, 250) played Buck linebacker in the Gators’ defense, a hybrid pass-rush position that also drops into coverage. He recorded 65 career tackles -- 12.5 for loss -- 4.5 sacks, and three forced fumbles. McCray missed pre-draft workouts due to a shoulder injury, but should be recovered by camp. He stood out on tape in the Florida-Texas A&M game by beating Luke Joeckel for a sack. There’s a decent shot he sticks as a strong-side linebacker and special teamer.

Bills acquired LB Lerentee McCray from the Packers for an undisclosed 2018 draft pick.
A 2013 undrafted free agent, McCray played 24 games for the Broncos the last two seasons. He will help on special teams and serve as depth for the Bills’ banged-up linebacking corps.
  • FA Defensive Lineman #55
Jaguars signed DE Lerentee McCray, formerly of the Bills, to a one-year contract.
McCray gets $1 million guaranteed, and the deal can max out at $3.5 million. He opened last season as a situational player on defense, playing 30-40 percent of the snaps, but McCray was relegated to special teams by midseason.
  • FA Defensive Lineman #55
Jaguars re-signed DE Lerentee McCray to a one-year contract.
The deal comes with a second-year option for 2019. A core special teamer, McCray saw just 21 snaps on defense last year.
