Cardinals third-round pick Leonard Pope made three receptions for 20 yards and one for a touchdown in Friday’s preseason victory.
The rookie is listed third on the depth chart currently but should pass Adam Bergen and Eric Edwards sooner rather than later.
  • FA Tight End #88
TE Leonard Pope was held out of Monday’s workout with a leg injury.
DT Gabe Watson wasn’t able to participate with a similar ailment. The status of the two rookies is unknown at this time.
  • FA Tight End #88
Leonard Pope caught three passes for 32 yards with a touchdown in Sunday’s loss to the Chargers.
Pope was playing with Tony Moeaki (knee) out for the year and Anthony Becht leaving early today. He surely infuriated coach Todd Haley by taking his helmet off after the touchdown, earning a 15-yard penalty. Pope is a backup-caliber talent at best and not on the fantasy radar.
  • FA Tight End #88
Free agent TE Leonard Pope will visit the Steelers Tuesday.
One of the more experienced players remaining in a barren tight end market, Pope caught a career high 24 passes for 247 yards in Kansas City last season. A poor blocker, he’d provide pass-catching depth behind Heath Miller in Pittsburgh.
  • FA Tight End #88
Steelers signed TE Leonard Pope to a one-year contract.
Wherever Todd Haley lands, Pope is sure to follow. The two have been together in Arizona, Kansas City, and now Pittsburgh. Pope will add veteran depth behind Heath Miller with Weslye Saunders suspended four games. Despite impressive measurables, Pope has never cleared 250 yards in six NFL seasons.
  • FA Tight End #88
Leonard Pope had three receptions for 26 yards against the Patriots in Week 11.
Sometimes a new rookie quarterback can cause a tight end to get more looks, and together Pope and Jake O’Connell (three catches, 22 yards) were targeted 10 times. We’ll let you know if one of the mediocre duo emerges, but we won’t be holding our breath.
  • ARI Tackle #68
Steelers GM Kevin Colbert listed G Kelvin Beachum and TE Leonard Pope as standouts from offseason practices.
Beachum, a seventh-round pick in April, is versatile enough that he will eventually be able to play all five O-Line positions. He’ll compete for a primary backup job in his rookie season. Pope, 28, is the favorite to back up Heath Miller.
  • FA Tight End #88
Free agent TE Leonard Pope is participating in Bears training camp on a tryout basis.
Pope, 30 next month, hasn’t generated any known interest since becoming a free agent in March. He’s nothing more than a blocker and red-zone threat.
  • FA Tight End #88
Bears signed TE Leonard Pope, formerly of the Steelers.
Pope, 30, adds experience behind Martellus Bennett, where the Bears were lacking with Fendi Onobun, Kyle Adams, and Steve Maneri rounding out the depth chart. Pope had three catches in Pittsburgh last year. He’s a blocker.
  • ARI Tight End
Troy Bienemann, an undrafted player who graduated in 2006, has been running with the first-team offense at Cardinals practice.
Bienemann tore his ACL in his final college game, then tore it again in Saints camp last year. With rookie Ben Patrick hurt, Bieneman has been in the first-team offense with Leonard Pope and impressed. He may make the team, but the Cardinals TEs remain hands-off in fantasy leagues.
