Titans signed DT Lamar Divens to a one-year contract.
Undrafted out of Tennessee State in 2008, the 6'3/340 Divens has yet to record an NFL tackle in five career games. He worked for new defensive assistant Keith Millard with the Buccaneers late last season.

The Titans worked out free agent LB Zac Diles and NT Lamar Divens on Friday.
Diles was waived by the Colts this week and appeared in four games on special teams. Divens, 26, failed his physical with the Ravens in training camp and hasn’t played in the NFL since 2010.

49ers signed DT Lamar Divens, OT Kenny Wiggins and LB Nathan Stupar to reserve/future contracts.
A sixth-year undrafted free agent, Divens hasn’t appeared in an NFL game since 2010. Stupar was a seventh-round pick of the Raiders last season, but didn’t make it past final cuts.

Ravens backup DT Lamar Divens (hip surgery) is expected to be cleared for practice next week.
Divens, a former undrafted free agent, is an extreme long shot to make the final roster. Even if his troublesome hip is 100 percent, the Ravens drafted two defensive tackles in Terrence Cody and Art Jones.

49ers OLB Ahmad Brooks allegedly assaulted teammate Lamar Divens on June 8.
Brooks allegedly struck Divens three times in the head with a beer bottle, and then punched him in the face during an argument over car keys outside Brooks’ home. Divens, a journeyman defensive tackle, was left bloodied and needed three stitches. The alleged attack was witnessed by two other 49ers, rookies Mike Purcell and Lawrence Okoye. At the time, Divens said he wanted to press charges and a warrant for Brooks was issued. Divens has since changed his mind and now the District Attorney is debating whether to press charges. The 49ers gave Brooks a six-year, $37 million contract last year despite off-field issues dating back to his time with the Bengals and at the University of Virginia.
  • FA Defensive Lineman #92
Ravens placed DT Lamar Divens on injured reserve with a hip flexor, ending his season.
A big project out of Tennessee State, Divens had no tackles in three games as an undrafted rookie in 2008. He entered camp on the roster bubble.

Ravens re-signed exclusive rights free agent DL Lamar Divens.
Divens, 24, looks like a player getting off the bus at 6'3/333, but he has played in just three career games. His one-year contract is worth $385,000.

Ravens waived DT Lamar Divens and RB Curtis Steele.
Both failed their physicals to open camp. The Ravens are probably glad Divens did, because he had a $1.2 million salary. Steele was a camp-body type.
