Raiders released/waived WR Kris Durham, RB George Atkinson III, OG Mitch Bell, LB Spencer Hadley, DE Shelby Harris, OT Dan Kistler, DE Max Valles, DT Leon Orr, DE C.J. Wilson, TE Brian Leonhardt, DT Ricky Lumpkin, CB Tevin McDonald, LB Josh Shirley, K Giorgio Tavecchio, DE Gary Wilkins, and WR Devon Wylie.
Durham was buried on Oakland’s depth chart behind Amari Cooper, Michael Crabtree, Andre Holmes, and Brice Butler. He’s running out of NFL chances. A sixth-round pick, Valles is a practice squad candidate.
  • FA Wide Receiver #83
Raiders signed WR Kris Durham to a one-year, $745,00 contract.
Durham was limited to four games with Tennessee last season. He served as Detroit’s No. 3 receiver in 2013, where he was one of the least effective wideouts in the league. Durham will give the Raiders depth after losing seventh-rounder Andre Debose.
  • FA Wide Receiver #83
Seahawks WR Kris Durham, placed on injured reserve this week, underwent surgery to repair a torn labrum in his shoulder.
So there’s no truth to the rumor that Durham injured his shoulder when the Seahawks twisted his arm to go on I.R. The 2011 fourth-rounder is facing a six-month recovery timetable, leaving him questionable for an important round of OTAs next spring.
  • FA Wide Receiver #83
Seahawks placed WR Kris Durham (shoulder) on injured reserve, ending his season.
Durham reportedly injured his labrum. The fourth-rounder caught just three passes for 30 yards in three games after falling behind undrafted rookie Doug Baldwin early on. He’ll have to battle to make the final roster in 2012.
  • FA Wide Receiver #83
    Seahawks waived WR Kris Durham.
Durham was a fourth-round pick in 2011 that spent most of his rookie year on IR due to a shoulder injury. He’s just a big body at 6'6/216.
  • FA Wide Receiver #83
Lions signed WR Kris Durham to their practice squad.
A fourth-round pick by Seattle in 2011, Durham suffered a torn labrum in November and missed most of his rookie season. He was waived during final cuts on Friday. With an impressive mix of size (6'5/214) and speed (ran a 4.43 at his Pro Day), Durham could eventually push Kassim Osgood off the roster.
  • SEA Wide Receiver #18
Seahawks WRs Sidney Rice (shoulder surgeries) and Kris Durham (shoulder surgery) ran routes during Thursday’s OTA workout.
Both players, along with sixth-round S Winston Guy, wore red non-contact jerseys as a precaution. The optimistic Seahawks expect Rice to be the healthiest he’s ever been by the time training camp rolls around. As far as we’re concerned, the three concussions in a 12-month span are every bit as worrisome as Rice’s twin shoulder surgeries.
  • FA Wide Receiver #83
Lions signed WR Kris Durham off their practice squad.
With Ryan Broyles on IR and Titus Young banished, the Lions are in desperation mode at wideout. Durham will act as depth behind new starter Mike Thomas and we’d expect Brian Robiskie to dress Sunday as well.
  • FA Wide Receiver #83
Seahawks declared WR Kris Durham, SS Kam Chancellor, QB Josh Portis, Kris Durham, DB Byron Maxwell, OG Robert Gallery, OT Jarriel King, and DT Al Woods inactive for Week 4 against Atlanta.
The Seahawks are missing two starters in this one (Chancellor, Gallery). Otherwise, they have a pretty healthy roster. Durham has been in and out of the game-day lineup. He did have 30 yards on three catches in Week 2.
  • FA Wide Receiver #83
Kris Durham’s lone catch went for a 25-yard touchdown in Detroit’s Week 17 loss to the Bears.
Detroit’s “No. 2 receiver” lost snaps to Brian Robiskie and Mike Thomas. Robiskie scored a touchdown, as well. Pressed into service only after the Lions lost their Nos. 2-4 receivers for the year, Durham will finish with eight catches for 125 yards in four games. A fringe talent who made a number of mental mistakes after being promoted from the practice squad, Durham should struggle to earn a roster spot next summer.
