    Vikings waived WR Kris Adams.
An undrafted free agent out of UTEP last season, Adams was signed to a reserve/future deal in January. The fact that he was waived at this stage of the offseason suggests he’ll struggle to latch on elsewhere as a camp body.
  • FA Wide Receiver
Vikings signed WRs Kris Adams and Kerry Taylor, OG Chris DeGeare, LB Tyrone McKenzie, CB Reggie Jones, TE Allen Reisner, and OL Butch Lewis to reserve/future contracts.
Adams went undrafted out of UTEP this past April, but possesses good size (6'3/195) and was a standout in Bears 2011 training camp. He may have a legit shot to make the Vikings’ 2012 roster pending more good practice efforts. McKenzie has the highest profile of this group as a former third-round pick.
  • FA Wide Receiver
Colts signed WR Kris Adams, formerly of the Vikings.
Adams (6'3/194) will be a big, long practice body for training camp. The former UDFA out of UTEP has already spent time with Minnesota and Chicago.
  • FA Wide Receiver
    Colts released WR Kris Adams.
Adams was essentially a practice body. The Colts also promoted T Tony Hills from the practice squad. This move suggests the Colts had concerns about their offensive line being too thin for Sunday’s tilt against the Packers.
  • FA Wide Receiver
Giants signed WR Kris Adams and CB Antonio Dennard to reserve/future contracts.
Adams caught two passes for 26 yards in three games with the Colts this season. The former UTEP star hauled in five passes for 90 yards in preseason action. He’s a long shot to make the Giants’ roster in 2013.
  • FA Wide Receiver
Giants waived/injured WR Kris Adams and signed WR Marcus Harris.
Harris will replace Adams as a camp body. Adams suffered what appeared to be a fractured lower leg and dislocated ankle in Saturday’s preseason opener.
  • FA Wide Receiver
Giants WR Kris Adams suffered a fractured lower leg in Saturday night’s preseason opener.
Adams’ foot also appeared to separate from the ankle socket. It’s a definite year-ending injury for Adams, a big-bodied straight-line speedster out of UTEP. He’ll likely be waived/injured this week.
  • FA Tight End #87
Browns claimed TE Andre Smith off waivers from the Cowboys.
The team has also waived WR Brian Tyms and G/C Patrick Lewis. A third-year undrafted free agent, Smith appeared in three games for the Cowboys before getting cut loose. He’ll serve as blocking and special teams depth in Cleveland.
  • FA Wide Receiver
Giants placed WR Kris Adams (leg) on the reserve/PUP list.
Adams was waived/injured and won’t count toward the Giants’ 90-man roster. The move rules him out for the first six games of the regular season, though Adams isn’t more than a camp body or No. 6 receiver. Adams is recovering from a severe leg/ankle injury suffered last preseason.
  • FA Wide Receiver
    Giants waived WR Kris Adams.
Adams suffered a severe leg/ankle injury last preseason. The Giants see more long-range potential in UDFA wideouts Travis Harvey and Corey Washington.
