The Grizzlies waived Killian Tillie and Dakota Mathias on Saturday.
Tillie’s versatility had him looking like he might make the final cut this season but it wasn’t meant to be. He could end up signing with another team this season. Tillie played in 54 games over the last two seasons and apparently hasn’t fully recovered from last season’s back injury.

According to Damichael Cole of the Memphis Commercial-Appeal, Killian Tillie’s positional versatility could go a long way towards ensuring him a guaranteed roster spot this season.
Memphis will go into training camp with 18 players under contract, and this does not include two-way contract recipients Kenneth Lofton Jr. and Vince Williams. Tillie may have some work to do to ensure a roster spot, largely due to the amount of time he’s missed due to injuries. In Cole’s opinion, Tillie’s shooting ability and positional versatility may work in his favor, especially with Jaren Jackson Jr. sidelined with a foot injury. Something else to keep an eye on is what Memphis may do with Danny Green, who will be out until sometime next year as he recovers from a torn ACL. “Tillie may be on the outside looking in if Green isn’t traded, but he has attributes the Grizzlies value, and that could lead to him stealing a spot — especially with Jaren Jackson Jr. sidelined with an injury to start of the season,” Cole wrote. Tillie isn’t a player worth targeting in the latter rounds of fantasy drafts, as Brandon Clarke may be the Grizzly who benefits the most from JJJ being sidelined.

Killian Tillie (lower back procedure recovery) will not play in Game 3 against the Timberwolves on Thursday.
We’ve heard a whole lot of nothing regarding Tillie’s procedure and he could be out a while. Assume he’s out unless you hear otherwise, but even if he returns this postseason, it won’t affect much at all.

Killian Tillie (back) has been ruled out for Game 2 on Tuesday against the Timberwolves.

It sounds like he had some sort of procedure but that’s all we really know. This doesn’t affect anything in real life or fantasy land.

Killian Tillie (left knee soreness) won’t play against the Spurs Wednesday night.
This won’t have an impact on fantasy hoops as Tillie is not a big part of the Grizzlies’ rotation.
