    Falcons released CB Kevin King.
The team is expected to elevate LB Nate Landman (quad) to the active roster after activating him from injured reserve via the 21-day practice window on Wednesday. King played seven snaps this season, allowing one 13-yard completion on one target.
  • ATL Linebacker #53
Falcons placed LB Nate Landman (quadricep) on injured reserve.
Landman had been rehabbing a quad injury that has plagued him for the previous month and the team recently added a calf injury to his designation. He will now miss the next four games, at minimum. The Falcons signed DB Kevin King in a corresponding move Monday.
  • ATL Defensive Back #20
Falcons signed CB Kevin King, formerly of the Packers.
King hasn’t played a regular season snap since 2021 and suffered a torn Achilles while working out last May. The former second-round pick has started in 42 of the 51 games he’s appeared in for his career but has dealt with a myriad of injuries for the last three years — in addition to his torn Achilles. King will likely have to battle for a spot on the Falcons’ 53-man roster in camp.
  • ATL Cornerback #32
Free agent CB Kevin King suffered a torn Achilles and will miss the 2023 season.
King was injured while working out this offseason. The ex-Packers corner took the 2022 season off and will now miss 2023 recovering from Achilles surgery. King, 28, will target a return ahead of the 2024 offseason.

  • ATL Cornerback #32
Packers declared CB Kevin King, LB Jaylon Smith, S Vernon Scott, LB La’Darius Hamilton, OT Dennis Kelly and DL Jack Heflin inactive for Week 8 against the Cardinals.
Battling shoulder and back issues, this will be King’s third straight absence. The real story for the Packers, of course, is Davante Adams and Allen Lazard missing this game on the COVID-19 list, leaving Randall Cobb as the de facto No. 1 wideout.

  • ATL Cornerback #32
Packers declared CB Kevin King, S Vernon Scott, OT Dennis Kelly, DL Jack Heflin, and LB Preston Smith inactive for Week 7 against Washington.
King remains sidelined with a shoulder injury. Sunday will be his fourth game missed to start the year due to various injuries.

  • ATL Cornerback #32
Packers declared CB Kevin King, S Vernon Scott, LB Isaiah McDuffie, OT Dennis Kelly, and DL Jack Heflin inactive for Week 6 against the Bears.
King is out with a shoulder injury. He’s missed three games already to start the year to various injuries.

  • ATL Cornerback #32
Packers declared CB Kevin King, LB Krys Barnes, OLB La’Darius Hamilton, and OG Elgton Jenkins inactive for Week 4 against the Steelers.
King has a concussion. Marquez Valdes-Scantling (hamstring) was placed on injured reserve.

  • ATL Cornerback #32
The Packers declared CB Kevin King, OL Elgton Jenkins, S Vernon Scott, and LB La’Darius Hamilton inactive for Week 3 against the 49ers.
King is out with a non-COVID illness. Packers TE Josiah Deguara (concussion) is active after missing Week 2.

  • DET Defensive End #99
Packers placed Za’Darius Smith on the non-football injury list.
The Packers also placed defensive end Kingsley Keke and cornerback Kevin King, among a handful of others, on the NFI list. All of the players will be eligible to return once medically cleared so there’s little cause for concern at this moment. Smith signed a four-year deal with the Packers two seasons ago and has been nothing but spectacular since, racking up 26 sacks while never missing a regular season game. He’ll be eying a third consecutive Pro Bowl if this injury doesn’t cause him any trouble.
