Raiders signed T/G Kevin Haslam to a one-year contract.
Haslam showed enough at a rookie minicamp tryout that the Raiders decided to sign him up. An athletic fit for Oakland’s zone-blocking scheme when healthy, Haslam could push for snaps at right tackle or left guard with a big camp.

    Jaguars waived OT Kevin Haslam.
Haslam was due only $465,000 in salary. The Jags weren’t high enough on the 25-year-old’s long-term prospects to even bring Haslam to camp. The former undrafted free agent out of Rutgers missed the 2011 season with a torn MCL.

The Raiders will work out free agent OT Kevin Haslam this weekend.
Haslam will attend rookie minicamp on a tryout basis. The 25-year-old was waived in March by the Jaguars, who have some of the poorest offensive line depth in the league. Haslam is a former undrafted free agent from Rutgers.

Chargers signed OL Kevin Haslam from the team’s practice squad.
Haslam has the ability to play both guard and tackle. He will be active in Week 12 against the Ravens as San Diego’s swing tackle. LT Jared Gaither (groin) was placed on injured reserve this week.

    Chargers waived OT Kevin Haslam.
The 2010 undrafted free agent spent the first 11 weeks of 2012 on the Chargers’ practice squad before being forced into action at left tackle, where he made three starts. Haslam got roughed up in 294 snaps, and was never a viable candidate to start in 2013 despite San Diego’s black hole on the blindside.

Patriots claimed OT Kevin Haslam off waivers from the Chargers.
A 2010 undrafted free agent, Haslam made three starts at left tackle last season because of Jared Gaither’s disappearing act. He was ineffective in 294 snaps. Despite being a Rutgers product — something coach Bill Belichick has grown increasingly fond of — Haslam is a long-shot for the Patriots’ final tackle spot.

ESPN’s Matt Williamson believes the Chargers have “the worst left tackle situation in the NFL.”
Williamson is former scout for the Browns. Here’s his take on King Dunlap, who is currently penciled in as the Chargers’ starter: “He has great size, but he is heavy-footed and can really struggle to play low enough due to his extreme height. At best, he is a right tackle athlete and not suited to playing on the left side.” The Chargers also lost their top guard, Louis Vasquez, in free agency. We’re not sure how Philip Rivers sleeps at night.

    Lions released OT Kevin Haslam.
Haslam lasts just two weeks with the Lions. He’s now been dumped by three teams in the span of three months.

    Lions signed OT Kevin Haslam.
Haslam, 26, was cut by the Patriots on Thursday after being claimed off waivers from the Chargers in May. He started three games at left tackle for the Bolts last season, but was largely ineffective. Haslam is a roster long shot.

Jaguars placed OT Kevin Haslam (hand) on injured reserve, ending his season.
Haslam has seen action in just two games this season. He’ll battle for a roster spot again in 2011.
